Franklin's battery monitoring system provides real-time insights into your energy production and consumption. This monitoring is accessible through Franklin’s Monitoring App.

Installation Day Monitoring Setup:

Monitoring will be established on the same day as your Franklin battery installation. It is crucial to set up your monitoring account during installation to facilitate effective monitoring by Better Earth.

Monitoring Apps:

System monitoring can be accessed through the Franklin monitoring app.

Note that the Franklin monitoring app is distinct from the SolarEdge inverter monitoring app, which tracks solar production.

Activation Notice:

Keep in mind that system production data will not be visible in the monitoring apps until your system has been activated.

Minimum System Size:

There is no minimum system size required to install a Franklin battery, as long as the solar system size meets the minimum 8 panel requirement.

How Many Can Be Installed:

A minimum of 1 Franklin Battery and a maximum of 3 Franklin Batteries can be installed at a time. These are the recommend amount of batteries based on your annual usage.

1 Battery for annual kWh usage of: Less than 10,000 kWh/year

2 Batteries for annual kWh usage of: 10,000-20,000 kWh/year

3 Batteries for annual kWh usage of: 20,000-30,000 kWh/year

Purchase Options:

Franklin battery systems can be purchased outright along with the solar system.

The batteries can be financed together with the solar system.

Alternatively, the batteries can be financed independently if you decide to add them to your system after the solar system has been installed.

Project Timeline Impact:

Installing a Franklin battery may result in slightly longer project timelines due to additional process requirements during the design, permitting, installation, and inspection stages.
