Battery Count Recommendation
Better Earth offers two types of batteries: Back up and Non-Back up batteries.
The number of batteries that are best suited for your system depends on your electric usage. Better Earth can install up to 3 batteries with one system as long as you are able to meet our minimum system size requirement of 8 panels.
How do I know how many batteries to get?
- 1 Battery for annual kWh usage of: Less than 9,000 kWh/year
- 2 Batteries for annual kWh usage of: 9,000-20,000 kWh/year
- 3 Batteries for annual kWh usage of: 20,000-30,000 kWh/year
If you plan to add more than 1 battery, we recommend using our Back Up Battery options.
