Better Earth installs a minimum of 3 Tesla Powerwalls to provide comprehensive whole-home backup solutions.

Tesla's Powerwall for Whole Home Backup can support the entire home, including 120V and 240V loads such as lights, appliances, air conditioners, and more. Better Earth recommends avoiding the use of high-energy usage appliances or EV chargers during a power outage.

Minimum System Size:

  • There is no minimum system size required to install a Tesla Powerwall battery, as long as the solar system size meets the minimum 6 panel requirement.

How Many Can Be Installed:

  • A minimum of 1 Tesla Powerwall and a maximum of 3 Tesla Powerwalls can be installed at a time. These are the recommend amount of batteries based on your annual usage.
    • 1 Battery for annual kWh usage of: Less than 11,000 kWh/year
    • 2 Batteries for annual kWh usage of: 11,000-22,000 kWh/year
    • 3 Batteries for annual kWh usage of: 22,000-33,000 kWh/year

  • Tesla battery systems can be purchased outright along with the solar system.
  • The batteries can be financed together with the solar system.
  • Alternatively, the batteries can be financed independently if you decide to add them to your system after the solar system has been installed.
