SolarEdge Energy Hub
The SolarEdge Energy Hub Battery can be utilized as a backup or a non-backup battery.
As a non-backup battery, the SolarEdge Battery is designed to maximize benefits for homeowners in a Net Billing program, particularly for utilities on a NEM 3 program or similar.
As a backup battery, the SolarEdge Battery can provide the same benefits as the non-backup batteries while also ensuring power during outages.

What The SolarEdge Battery Can Backup:
Non-Backup Battery:
The non-backup battery version does not provide power to the home during a power outage. Its purpose is to store excess energy produced by your solar system and sell it back to the utility grid when buyback rates are highest. These batteries are available only through utility companies that offer NEM 3.0, such as California.
Backup Battery:
The backup battery version will be able to provide the home power during an outage. It can be configured to connect to specific electrical loads, ensuring that essential appliances and breakers are powered in the event of an outage.
Warranty:
SolarEdge Battery Warranty:
The SolarEdge Battery is backed by a 10-year warranty, providing assurance and reliability for an extended period.
