Location Setup: Since batteries are typically installed outdoors on the side of your home, the crew will prepare the designated spot. If space is limited, they might use a pedestal or, if necessary, install it inside your garage with protective measures like bollards.

Mounting and Connection: The process involves securely mounting the battery unit, connecting it to your solar inverter, and integrating it with your home's electrical system. For systems like SolarEdge, Enphase, or Franklin, this includes setting up the necessary gateway or inverter for backup functionality.

Timeline: The installation time can vary:

Minimal Disruption: Your role is minimal during the installation. The crew is trained to handle the process safely and efficiently. You might need to provide access to your electrical panel or the installation site, but otherwise, you can continue with your day-to-day activities.

Battery Monitoring Setup: For SolarEdge, Enphase, and Franklin Battery systems, our team will set up the battery monitoring portal. This setup is essential for us to monitor your battery's health and performance, ensuring you receive critical software updates.

Final Checks: By the end of the day or the expected completion date, the crew will ensure the battery is securely installed, all connections are properly made, and initial system checks are performed.

Site Restoration: After the installation, the team will clean up, removing all installation-related debris, packaging, and tools, leaving your property tidy.

Inspection Process: A post-installation inspection will be scheduled within about 30 days to verify that the battery system complies with local codes and is functioning correctly.

Utility Approval: Post-inspection, we'll submit the necessary documentation to your utility company for Permission To Operate (PTO). This typically takes about 4 weeks.

System Activation: Once PTO is granted, your battery system will be activated, allowing you to start using stored solar energy.
